Meet Kelsey, Brand Manager at Chefs Plate
What was your favourite meal as a kid?
This might make me sound like a strange kid (don’t get me wrong, I was), but I was obsessed with Thai Curry. My parents went on a month trip to Asia and brought back all these exciting recipes and flavours that I hadn’t really tasted before. Though my mum did most of the cooking during the week, Saturdays were when my Dad hit the kitchen and tested out new curries. I still insist on him preparing my favourite Beef Green Curry with Bamboo Shoots every time I go home!
Which food trend are you currently obsess with?
At the risk of sounding like a total cliché, avocado everything! I despised them as a kid, but now I can’t get enough. Sometimes I even eat them straight up with a little balsamic vinegar splashed on.
What’s the best part about your job?
The best part of my job is that I get to share my love for Chefs Plate with the world! It makes me excited to know we are making people’s lives a bit less stressful and much more delicious.
I love ordering from Chefs Plate because I am learning how to #adult in the kitchen. I am always learning cool new chopping techniques or ways to sneak veggies into pasta! My culinary confidence is way up.
