What was your favourite meal as a kid?
Steak Caprese Salad – How do you improve on such a classic combination of flavours? Add beef! I also love the robustness of fingerling potatoes and the sea asparagus has such a unique salty flavour.
Which food trend are you currently obsess with?
I’m not even sure what’s trending to be honest. I go with what tastes good as opposed to what’s popular and I’m a sucker for the classics. Give me a Sunday roast dinner over avocado toast any day (is avocado toast still a thing?).
What’s the best part about your job?
Turning bad situations into positive experiences.
I’ve always loved to cook but sometimes I hit a creative block when coming up with new recipes. Chefs Plate does the leg work for me and I can just focus on the fun part, cooking (and eating!).
