I had seen advertisements for Chefs Plate, but hadn’t had the chance to place my first order until recently. As a single parent of two teenage boys, busy career and social life, I’m always looking for ways to save time on meal prep.
I was excited to try out Chefs Plate – it meant I didn’t have to spend my Sunday afternoon planning, preparing and cooking meals for the week. It also meant that I could add some excitement to my typical dinner repertoire. Goodbye boring pasta, pizza and burgers and hello healthy, creative options that the boys and I would look forward to and enjoy!
We loved cooking and eating the meals. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the protein. Each meal inspired me with new ingredients and options for dinnertime, and it was very satisfying to assemble all the fresh components to make it my own. My finicky kids ate every meal, and their fave was the One Pot Beef Burrito Bowl. When they asked for the Chefs Plate Meal again for lunch, I knew it was a hit!
I found Chefs Plate very convenient, too. Leftovers can be easily frozen and be used for another meal on a busy night, and it felt good to know that, whether for dinner or lunch, my kids were eating a healthy, well-balanced meal. That’s something every mom strives for! I also loved cooking one of the meals for friends. When my kids were out one night, I introduced some friends to one of the meals while visiting them, and I was a hero! Can’t wait for my next Chefs Plate dinner adventure!
Kid & Mom approved!
